0464.jpg (4812 bytes) heavy brass art nouveau style rectangular 10"x4" inkwell with recessed pen rest.   the central square inkwell with frontal relief figured decoration, hinged top with finial.  stamped on base WT&S with sun motif.
0010w.jpg (8400 bytes) cut glass inkwell 3½" square with rounded shoulders and hobnail base.  hinged silver collar and bulbous top with enamelled inlay of flowers.  hallmark Birmingham 1904 maker`s mark D.C&Co.
0162w.jpg (10547 bytes) green and gilt porcelain taper holder 1" high x 2½" diameter and bucket inkpot 2½" high both loose tops.  both salvaged from distressed Minton encrier.  Sampson porcelain slightly bulbous desk seal 2½" long relief painted sprays on gilt ground.  plain brass circular matrix.

0413w.jpg (20529 bytes) continental metal inkstand 7"x4" with front curved pen tray 2 glass wells, hinged tops. surmounted by standing lion with 1 paw on globe. part silver part black painted.   battle of Waterloo commemorative piece.  embossed `LION DE WATERLOO`  `XV111 JUIN MDCCCXV`.
0339w.jpg (6336 bytes) silver pen wiper with brush set in domed circular plinth 2½" diameter.  surmounted by wishbone approx 3" high with 2 pairs of pen rest brackets. hallmark Birmingham 1908.
0285w.jpg (25402 bytes) Egyptian black japanned metal inkwell holder with hinged lid and glass liner.  plan dimension 4½"x4".  marked `BIERES CROWN AND PYRAMIDES` also Arabic script.   shown opened.
0236w.jpg (12907 bytes) 5½" square x 5" high metal pen rack with pierced base, stepped pierced upstands 7 'U' shaped pen grooves and pressed glass inkwell 2½" square with fluted rounded corners, loose cast iron top with raised pattern.
