    THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT  of me ALFRED JOHN TIVEY  of 1 Alfreton Road Tibshelf in the County of Derby made this first day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and thirty four I HEREBY REVOKE all wills made by me at any time heretofore APPOINTmy daughter Anise Gertrude Woodhead of 1 Alfreton Road Tibshelf  to be my EXEECUTOR and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be made as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I GIVE AND BEQUEATH to my said daughter Anise Gertrude Woodhead all I possess as executor for her to carry out instructions contained in the letter accompanying this will.

    Dear Anise,  I have appointed you as executor to my Will made this first day of September 1934 and am jotting down a few wishes for you to carry out as to disposal at my death.  Since the oil shares failed during the War I have not much to leave.  You will require several certificates one each for burial Midland Friendly Society L.M.S. Ry Derby. Guards Friendly Society 26a Finsbury Sq London  L.M.S. Superannuation Fund Euston Station London & Barclays Bank.  I promised my Grandson Lenif living he should have my gold watch and albert failing him my grandson Fred or failing him either Cyril or Alfred which you like.  You Anise better have the French & Hollandias Bonds Messrs Davis & Co Newsagents 95 Bishopgate London E.C.2. will send you results of all the drawings and would deal with anything required.  They receive 8/-per yearfor their services from April 1st March 31st.  You also must have my writing desk as promised I have nominated you to draw the death  fund money from the Midland Friendly & Guards Society`s instead of Ada.  You must sell the 100£ loan certificate and add this to the money left in Barclays Bank and with the money you will receive from the two clubs pay all funeral expenses and other debts.  And what is left should like you to equally divide between Ada, yourself and Gertie.  The other things I possess clothes etc you must dispose as you think fit.

    marked "A" and "B" was granted at Nottingham.

    The will is accompanied by a probate registration granted to Anice Gertrude Woodhead (wife of George Cyril Woodhead) daughter of the deceased  the sole executor named in the said will and dated 19th February 1936.
